Participants will take a bus tour of Chevron's largest U.S. refinery the "Pascagoula Refinery." Operating around the clock, 365 days a year, the Pascagoula Refinery processes 330,000 barrels*, or 13.9 million gallons, of crude oil per day in the manufacture of petroleum products and chemicals used to manufacture many other useful products. *(A barrel equals 42 gallons.)
Chevron's facility in Pascagoula is primarily a "fuels" refinery, in that the refinery's primary products are motor gasoline, jet fuel and diesel fuel. Other products include fuel oils such as bunker fuel, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), aviation gasoline, petroleum coke and sulfur.
Following the tour participants will proceed directly to dinner at the La Maison Gautier (The Old Place).

La Maison Gautier (The Old Place)
"The Old Place," is located on Hwy. 90 in Gautier, Miss., overlooking 900 feet of beautiful Singing River. As you approach La Maison Gautier, you will see a time-mellowed house of West Indies design with a hipped roof and deep galleries on all four sides set back among historical oaks and magnolias. Grounds that are completely surrounded by a white rail and picket fence lead you to a gate with a sign that invites you to enter and see "The Old Place."
Participants not attending the Refinery Tour will depart from the IP Hotel and should meet in the lobby at 5 p.m.

Tour of the Mississippi Coast
Guests will travel along the longest man made beach in the world. The first stop will be at the Beauvoir (1852) the last residence of Jefferson Davis. The tour will then take guests to several Biloxi landmarks including the Katrina Memorial. In addition, guests will take a shrimp boat cruise.
Lunch will be at Mary Mahoney's Old French House. The tour will continue with several interesting historical locations, including the George Ohr Museum. While viewing the pottery guests may enjoy a bit of lagniappe...a glass of wine or a soft drink with fruit and cheese.
